Inspiration and ideas are found in such unusual places and lead one to places never imagined. Here Dan found beauty in the simple carousel horse. The wood carvers of the carousel companies of yesteryear, such as the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and M. C. Illions, took great pride in their creations. Each horse was lovingly carved for the sole purpose of carrying its young rider up and away to a world of magic. DaNisha's sculpture, €Alado€, is imbued with the same spirit. It takes us back to the age of innocence.
