Jens interest in reusable objects has been a re-occurring theme. Her current use of bottle caps in jewelry was inspired by her interest of common symbols that have been injected into mainstream advertising. She found that by removing the symbol from the context of an everyday bottle cap the meaning is then transformed into a personal icon to be celebrated by the individual.
