Our first, our original. Inspired by FredÃs grandfather, who witnessed the attack on Pearl Harbor firsthand in the second world war. Grandpa Willy always said, ÃWar happens so suddenly. Peace moves slowly.Ã When we first saw the sea of army helmets in a surplus yard, these words resonated with the though that the green helmets looked like turtle shells. Peace moves slowly...like a turtle moves. And thus the first turtle was born, still one of our most popular items.

Made from an authentic WWII helmet, steel and recycled items - no two are exactly alike. Measures approx. 24"H. They are designed to rust or they can be sprayed with a clear acrylic enamel spray.
