Sometimes beauty comes from terror and despair. We want always to find the good side even from things horrible and frightening. Two events separated by six decades inspired Dan to create this Angel. The first from Picasso's reaction to the bombing of the Spanish town of Guernica in 1937 in his 20 th century masterpiece €Guernica€, and the second by the tragedy of 9/11. During the confusion of dread and fear our hearts seek both a helping hand and a guiding light. This is a universal reaction amongst the human tribe.
Hope leads us beyond tragedy and to a better place.
