€The desert is not always as one expects. In central Mexico , on the high plateau, the sun is radiant yet the air is cool. Dry as a dust bowl part of the year, the ground surges with flowers and lush greenery during the rainy season. Over time the seasons reveal themselves, contrasting each other as much as our northern home.
Obviously there are no camels on this continent. Yet, the desert spoke to us and we applied the natural drama of this climate to our urge to make a charismatic camel.
Nisha used the sensuality of the landscape as inspiration for her painting of the harem.€
