Kaycee Binns, Artist Statement: 'When I was a little girl, my Gramps used to ready me stories before I went to bed. As I've grown, those memories of the fireside readings have never faded. I remember all the imaginary worlds and characters with great detail, and remembering them brings a feeling of warmth and security I felt as a child. I decided to bring back those great memories in a keepsake item to be passed from one generation to the next! In a world of uncertainty, we look to our next generation for hope. Here's my contribution to remembering youth and how splendid it is!'
