"My guitars are made entirely from clay, except for the strings and strap plugs. They are slab-constructed and raku fired for brilliant colors.

My initial inspiration was guitars hanging in my nephew's bedroom. From there, the inspiration took me to my favorite guitar artists; Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, Pete Townshend, Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Garcia and other guitars made from my imagination.

My clay guitars are designed to hang or sit in a stand and are equally striking from afar and close inspection. They are interpretations, to be sure, but they have fooled many people in thinking they are real.

Most of all, they are fun. And definitely cool."
